Nice home made pasta

We waited for 45 minutes to get a seat but the home made pasta was wonderful at Salut American Restaurant. The sauce was perfect and the service was very good. All in all a good night to be out and eating good food after a hard day of work.

A cold walk for a cold meal

We went to Great Waters Brewing Co., but for the second time this week we weren't lucky with the food. It wasn't the worst food ever but not worth the the walk in the cold and wind night. We had fun though and Jesse had Sean's Mom's Meat Loaf or I like to call the mystery meat plate with peas.

Nice burger Joint so we should have order the burger

We went to Billy's on grant since everyone was talking their burgers was awesome. But the two knuckle heads had to order the chicken special. It was special alright; specially unseasoned, specially blend.

Breaking the diet

After over a week eating fish everyday I finally treat myself of a nice, juice Burger. Man is so nice when you can find happy moments in such a simple things. Jesse had chicken carbonara and was trying to convince me that some how his dish was a healthy one. Right, with all that white sauce who is he kidding. Hahaha.

Michigan

WOW!!! What an amazing sight seeing tour.  The Upper Peninsula a wonderful place to visit but Fall reveals an exceptional explosion of colors. We gaze upon these scenes feeling the greatness of nature and all the beauty it has to offer. Great relaxing moment after a long journey and hours of sitting in the car.

Wow, finally a new place to go in Archbold

Finishing an event after 9 PM did not permit a return to Sullivan's so we went up the street to Stella Blue and heard the last number from the live jazz/blues band. The food here was very good too. We were introduced to Stella Blue at lunch on Tuesday so it was nice to return for dinner.

No where to go...so...Sullivan's here we go again

Sullivan's, is there any other? Well not really. Archibold is an early to sleep town (my wife would love it) all bars and restaurant are closed before 8pm as well as in Wauseon. But what a delightful surprise to learn that the only 2 places open after 8pm, one in Archibold and one in Wauseon had amazing food. We ate at Sullivan's almost everyday and enjoyed every bit of it. And
Friday, the last night for dinner in Archbold/Wauseon, we went to dinner with our friends N & H who volunteered to help us restock our inventory.

Lake Lure, North Carolina

This was a beautiful place to visit amazing mountains views and a calm and serene boat ride through the lake which was awesome even with the cold weather. We also learned that this was the place where they shot the movie Dirty Dancing.

Café Azalea, Asheville, North Carolina

Here is a unique cafe that grows some herbs and vegetables and uses them in their menu. We felt that the food was very good.  We both had omelets and did experience some of their home grown herbs and vegetables  This visit was for brunch and then we were off to Chimney Rock but with the high winds on the previous day thwarting our plans, Lure Lake was the next stop for a boat tour of the lake and for an experience in movie history.
